YOGA POTENTIALS
Foundations of Yoga Therapy—East and West Coast

Weekend Intensive Trainings in California and Florida with Kausthub Desikachar from S.K.Y.

West Coast Training on Mudras and Bandhas description from Kausthub Desikachar:

The limitless human potential is often hidden deep within us. They are buried not just beneath our psyche, but also within the layers of conscious and unconscious patterning from childhood, as well as deep impressions from the past.

Unlocking them to fully manifest into our life is a key aspect of spiritual growth and development. This arduous and potent process requires sustained effort and practice of powerful tools, under careful guidance and supervision.

The role of Mudra-s and Bandhas,  serve as a vital instrument in this process of subtle personal evolution. Mudras & Bandhas are very intricate tools of yoga, that harness the fire within us to help metabolize the inherent seeds of our capabilities.

The wise sages of the past relied on these subtle and sophisticated tools of yoga, to nurture the latent potential lying beneath our subconscious layers of mind and emotion. When appropriately practiced together with a sophisticated system of breath and visualization, they touch different layers of the human system and aid in our positive transformation.

Owing to the great power it can harness, the yogis showed great respect to these tools and only learnt and practice under the watchful guidance of a competant teacher. They also understood and considered all the pre-requisites these tools required, before practicing themselves or teaching it to others.

It will be open to all, and will be particularly suitable for those who wish to journey to the core of yoga’s philosophical roots, and its practical implementation in daily practice. It will also be invaluable to those who are considering to delve into the authentic teachings of Yogacarya T Krishnamacharya & TKV Desikachar.
